BRAUN GRIDIRON™ Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 28, 2026 Last updated: October 28, 2026
This policy explains what information braungridiron.com (the "Site") collects and how it is used. The Site is operated by Andy Braun, doing business as Braun Gridiron ("we," "us," or "our").
1. The short version
- There are no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, or password to use the tools.
- Your draft tracker and settings are saved only in your own browser. We never receive them.
- Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data (like IP address) to deliver and protect the Site.
- When ads are live, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads. You can opt out (see section 6).
- We do not sell your information for money.
2. Information we collect
Information you choose to send us. If you email [email protected] or use a feedback form on the Site, we receive what you send, such as your email address and message.
Technical and log data. Cloudflare provides hosting and security for the Site. When you visit, Cloudflare automatically processes data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, referring page, and time of visit. This is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and stop abuse. Cloudflare handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Analytics. We use analytics tools to count visits and see which pages are used.
Cookies and similar technologies from ads. When ads are live, Google AdSense and its ad partners may place or read cookies, use device identifiers, and collect information such as your IP address, browser, the pages you view, and your interaction with ads. They use this to show ads, limit repeats, measure performance, prevent fraud, and, unless you opt out, personalize ads based on your interests. Learn more:
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Google ad settings, to turn off personalized ads: https://myadcenter.google.com/ (also reachable at https://adssettings.google.com)
- Industry opt out tools: https://optout.aboutads.info/ and https://optout.networkadvertising.org/
We do not control third-party cookies. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies.
3. Information stored only on your device
The draft tracker (managers, budgets, players sold) and a cached player list are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see or recover it. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for braungridiron.com.
4. How we use information
We use information to run, secure, and improve the Site, answer messages, fix bugs, understand which tools are used, and, through Google, show ads that pay for the free tools. We do not use it to build profiles of you ourselves.
5. How information is shared
- Service providers such as Cloudflare, which provides hosting and security, and our email and form service providers, to run the Site.
- Google and its ad partners, through ad cookies and tags, as described in section 2.
- Legal reasons, if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the Site.
- Business transfer, if the Site is sold or merged, as part of that transaction.
We do not sell personal information for money. Under California law, allowing ad cookies for personalized ads may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. See section 6.
6. Your privacy choices and US state rights
California (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA). We voluntarily honor the California privacy rights described below for California residents, whether or not the law requires it. If you live in California, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising; and to not be treated differently for using these rights. In the last 12 months, the categories involved are identifiers (such as IP address and cookie IDs), internet activity (pages viewed, ad interactions), and general location inferred from IP address. We collect no sensitive personal information on purpose.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. When ads are live, the Site will show a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link (in the footer and in a privacy message). When you opt out, we will tell Google to use restricted data processing, which means Google serves only non-personalized ads to you and limits how it uses your data. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt out where the law requires it. Because we have no accounts, your choice is tied to your browser and device; you will need to repeat it on other browsers or after clearing cookies.
Other states. Several other US states have privacy laws that may give their residents similar rights, such as access, deletion, correction, and opting out of targeted advertising. Our opt out works for visitors in every US state.
How to make a request. Email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request." Because we have no accounts and hold very little data tied to any person, we may not be able to match a request to you, and we will tell you if so. You may use an authorized agent. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our answer with the subject "Appeal."
7. Children's privacy (COPPA)
The Site is meant for a general audience 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
8. Data retention
- Emails and feedback: kept as long as needed to respond and improve the Site, then deleted, within 24 months.
- Hosting, security, and analytics logs: kept by our service providers under their own retention periods. We do not keep separate copies.
- Ad cookies: kept by Google and its partners for periods they set.
- localStorage data: stays on your device until you clear it.
9. Visitors outside the United States
The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for US users. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States. If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, ads are served only after you make a choice in a Google certified consent tool, which asks for your consent where the law requires it.
10. Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS. We have no accounts or passwords to protect and keep little data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, post a notice on the Site.
